“As an attorney, your words are your weapon. Stick ’em with the pointy end of your pencil.” – Brooke Bove
Brooke Bove is a seasoned advocate for justice. She loves the law and uses it to fight for her clients’ rights to ensure the power of their story is felt.
Brooke graduated high school in 1996, then joined the U.S. Army, where she worked as an intelligence analyst and translator. She went on to earn a Bachelor of Arts degree in English, with a minor in Business Administration. Next came a paralegal certificate and finally when she couldn’t hold out any longer, a law degree, magna cum laude, in 2011.
All of Brooke’s legal experience involves fighting for justice. As a paralegal, she worked in personal injury firms in Oregon and California. She continued that work, clerking at consumer advocacy firms during law school. Her extensive litigation and appellate experience have given her the perspective and legal knowledge to continue that fight for justice.
During law school, Brooke was a member and Lead Articles Editor of the Whittier Law Review, where she began her legal writing career by authoring and publishing a scholarly article related to copyright law. Since becoming an attorney, she has authored multiple articles for local, state-wide and national publications.
She sits on the Board of Directors of the Orange County Trial Lawyers Association (OCTLA) and she is the editor of their quarterly magazine, The Gavel. She is an active member of the Consumer Attorneys of California, and the Orange County Bar Association.
